Manzanillo is a resort city located in the state of Colima on Mexico's Pacific Coast between Puerto Vallarta and Acapulco. It is home to the largest and busiest port in Mexico and is known as the “Sailfish Capital of the World”, hosting an annual international fishing competition since 1957.
By car, it's about a 3 ½ hour drive from Guadalajara which is located 195 miles North East of Manzanillo.
